Monday, September 3rd, 2007A camera crew from Oprah came by our house last week to shoot Emma and Lorelei for an upcoming episode. Em & Lo were asked for their thoughts on the state of sex in America, their commentary legitimized by the fact that both of them are currently pregnant (in America).
No news yet on when it will run, but odds point toward the next week or two. The Oprah people have already called Em & Lo’s publisher, Chronicle Books, to ask if they can show the cover of Em & Lo’s Buh Bye, which is fantastic news. I’ll post information on the air date as soon as I have it.
Now comes the race to get our TV service reconnected in time for the airing. I had a slight mishap with the weed-whacker yesterday, realizing only after a horrible “ZING” sound that our satellite cable was not in fact buried underground, but nestled in the weeds at the edge of our property. On the plus side, if I ever need to obliterate any pesky cables in the yard, I’ll know which tool to use.
